Perspective on P-R-O-G-R-E-S-S
We live in a fast paced, quick fix, instant gratification type of world these days. Whether this is good or bad is in the eye of the beholder. It is circumstantial for sure. In some areas of life this expectation or “demand” has certainly enabled some neat and exciting things to happen within amazing time frames. In the weight loss world, however, this quick fix mentality can really prove to be a challenge … a hurdle … a detour … and ultimately a complete roadblock. We always want to assure that our clients realize and remember that ANY little bit of forward movement, improvement and change for the better IS PROGRESS! We want you to celebrate every little victory. Enjoy the process! And when you feel impatient or frustrated by “only losing a little bit of weight”, ask yourself this question …

This image creatively demonstrates how meaningful and beneficial it is to progressively, gradually and systematically lose a pound of fat. Every pound of un-wanted, un-needed and un-healthy fat we lose can (and should) be counted as PROGRESS!
